thenad_at: keeps you signed in while you use the site. Lasts up to 30 minutes.

thenad_rt: renews your sign-in so a short visit does not sign you out. Lasts up to 7 days.

thenad_consent: remembers the cookie choice you make on this site, so we do not ask again on every page. Lasts up to 180 days.

When you are signed out, your basket is kept in your browser using local storage rather than a cookie. It stays on your device until you clear it, it is not shared with anyone, and it is essential in the same way, so it needs no consent.

Analytics cookies

If you allow them, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are used and how the site is performing, so that we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share your browsing with advertising networks.

These cookies are not set until you accept them. When they are set, Google stores cookies named _ga and _ga followed by a code, which last up to two years.

You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website using Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Changing your choice

When analytics is switched on, a cookie banner asks whether to allow it, with Accept all and Reject all offered as equal choices. Nothing analytical is stored until you accept.
